Launch of the 10th Edition of Egypt AI & IoT Challenge
The 10th edition of Egypt AI & IoT Challenge officially kicks off as a national flagship program. The challenge includes dedicated tracks for university students, STEM school students, and Startups track aiming to support and encourage innovative, application-oriented ideas in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT).
Through the Registration phase, the Egypt AI & IoT Challenge has successfully attracted more than +350 Registration in university graduation projects and 400 projects from STEM school students.
In line with rapid technological advancements, the Egypt AI & IoT Challenge continuously evolves to keep pace with these changes, providing participants with opportunities to explore the latest innovations, tools, and emerging applications in AI and IoT. This ensures that students and young innovators gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and are well-prepared to create smart, impactful solutions that address real-world challenges.
The challenge serves as a national capacity-building program designed to support students with innovative ideas in AI and IoT applications. It also provides technical and financial support for university graduation projects and STEM school projects aligned with the country’s strategic direction toward developing local talents and fostering technology localization in IoT and AI sectors.

The opening ceremony of the Egypt AI & IoT Challenge marks the official launch of this national program, bringing together students, educators, industry leaders, and innovators from across Egypt. The event serves as a platform to introduce the challenge’s tracks, objectives, and key partners, while inspiring participants with insights into the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. Through keynote speeches, presentations, and interactive sessions, the opening sets the tone for a year-long journey of learning, innovation, and competition, motivating participants to transform their ideas into practical solutions and prepare for both national and regional stages of the challenge.
انطلاق النسخة العاشرة من تحدي مصر للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء
بدعم من أكاديمية البحث العلمي والتكنولوجيا، وبتنظيم من جمعية اتصال لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، والشركة الدولية للابتكار وريادة الأعمال (GIE)، و بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم الفني، تنطلق النسخة العاشرة من تحدي مصر للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء رسميًا كبرنامج وطني رائد. يتضمن التحدي مسارات مخصصة لطلاب الجامعات، وطلاب مدارس العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات، ومسارًا للشركات الناشئة، بهدف دعم وتشجيع الأفكار المبتكرة والتطبيقية في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء. خلال مرحلة التسجيل، استطاع تحدي مصر للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء جذب أكثر من 350 مشروع تخرج جامعي، و400 مشروع من طلاب مدارس العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات.
بالتزامن مع التطورات التكنولوجية المتسارعة، يواكب تحدي مصر للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء باستمرار هذه التغيرات، موفرًا للمشاركين فرصًا لاستكشاف أحدث الإبتكارات والأدوات والتطبيقات الناشئة في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء. يضمن هذا حصول الطلاب والمبتكرين الشباب على خبرة عملية في أحدث التقنيات، وإعدادهم جيدًا لابتكار حلول ذكية وفعّالة تعالج تحديات العالم الحقيقي.
يمثل هذا التحدي برنامجًا وطنيًا لبناء القدرات، مصممًا لدعم الطلاب ذوي الأفكار المبتكرة في تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء. كما يوفر دعمًا فنيًا وماليًا لمشاريع التخرج الجامعية ومشاريع مدارس العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات، بما يتماشى مع التوجه الاستراتيجي للدولة نحو تنمية المواهب المحلية وتعزيز توطين التكنولوجيا في قطاعي إنترنت الأشياء والذكاء الاصطناعي.
أُطلقت فعاليات التحدي افتراضيًا في 15 فبراير عبر تطبيق زووم، بمشاركة نخبة من القيادات الداعمة لمنظومة الابتكار، حيث صرّح الدكتور محمد شديد، الرئيس التنفيذي لجمعية اتصال لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، قائلاً: “أنا فخور بأن جمعية EITESAL تواصل دعم هذا التحدي من خلال ربط المبتكرين الشباب بالصناعة وخلق فرص حقيقية لتحويل أفكارهم المتعلقة بالذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء إلى حلول جاهزة للسوق، وفخور بدورنا في دعم هذا المشروع وهذه المنصة منذ عدة أعوام مع السادة الشركاء والرعاة.”
كما صرّح أيضًا المهندس طارق صلاح الدين، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة الدولية للابتكار وريادة الأعمال (GIE)، مؤكدًا: “سنظل ملتزمين بدعم وتمكين الشباب في قطاعات التكنولوجيا والبحث العلمي، والعمل على تنسيق التقدم العلمي والتنفيذي في هذه المجالات من خلال التوجيه والدعم الفني وفتح الأبواب أمام روادنا وشبابنا في مصر والوطن العربي ليستمروا في النمو ومواكبة تحديات عصر التكنولوجيا العميقة والذكاء الاصطناعي. يداً بيد مع شركائنا؛ نبني جيلًا جديدًا من رواد الأعمال.”
ومن جانبه، أوضح المهندس محمد عصام، مدير مشروع تحدي مصر للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء: “تم تصميم تحدي هذا العام بعناية لتوجيه المشاركين خلال كل مرحلة، بدايةً من التحقق من صحة الفكرة إلى تطوير النموذج الأولي، بما يضمن رحلة ابتكار شاملة ومؤثرة.”
وفي السياق ذاته، أكدت الدكتورة عزيزة خليفة، مديرة وحدة العلوم والتكنولوجيا (STEM) بوزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم الفني: “نعتقد أن إشراك طلاب العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات في تحديات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء التطبيقية أمر ضروري لربط المعرفة الصفية بالحلول التكنولوجية الواقعية.”
واختتم التصريحات السيد الأستاذ محمود طنطاوي، مدير عام الإدارة العامة للجوائز والمدير التنفيذي لبرامج مشاريع التخرج بأكاديمية البحث العلمي، بقوله: “نواصل تقديم الدعم الفني والمالي لمشاريع التخرج، مما يعزز مهمتنا في دفع الابتكار القائم على البحث العلمي بما يخدم الأولويات الوطنية.”
يمثل حفل افتتاح تحدي الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء في مصر الانطلاقة للنسخة العاشرة لهذا البرنامج الوطني، الذي لطالما كان يجمع الطلاب والمعلّمين وقادة الصناعة والمبتكرين من مختلف أنحاء مصر. ويُعدّ هذا الحدث منصةً لعرض مسارات التحدي وأهدافه وشركائه الرئيسيين، مع إلهام المشاركين برؤى حول أحدث التطورات في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء. ومن خلال الكلمات الرئيسية والعروض التقديمية والجلسات التفاعلية، يُمهّد حفل الافتتاح الطريق لرحلةٍ تمتد على مدار عام كامل من التعلم والابتكار والمنافسة، مُحفّزاً المشاركين على تحويل أفكارهم إلى حلول عملية والاستعداد للمراحل القادمة من التحدي.
